I am drawn to the saying, “If it would have been a snake, it would have bit you,” as a metaphor for the profound truths that often go unnoticed in our daily lives. I find that art and mindfulness both seek to uncover the transcendent realities that are right before our eyes, yet often overlooked due to the distractions of daily life or a narrow mindset. Whether through imagery, materials, or patterns, I aim to prompt viewers to pause and reconsider their surroundings, recognizing the significance in things that may have eluded them. By encouraging a shift in perspective, I hope to inspire a deeper appreciation for the beauty, complexity, and interconnectedness of life. My art serves as a reminder to look beyond the surface and embrace the insights that lie just beneath the surface of our everyday experiences.
