Library Book

This wood accordion “library book” features The Library and Kickstep Mountain, part of Turnagain Pass, Alaska. Made of 6 panels of laser-cut Baltic birch plywood and thread with water-based stain and sealant, the Library Book measures 4″ wide x 8.4″ high x 0.75″ deep folded, 8.4″ high x 24″ wide x 0.125″ deep unfolded. The long row of vertical ridges in the mountain are reminiscent of book spines on a shelf.
